Product description
Unitree D1 Robotic Arm: The ultra-precise 6-DoF lightweight arm for mobile robotics and AI research
Push the boundaries of your robotic research and development: The Unitree D1 Robotic Arm is a highly integrated 6-axis lightweight robotic arm specifically designed for use on mobile platforms. With an ideal payload of 500 g and a maximum reach of up to 715 mm, this arm offers the perfect balance of range and agility. Thanks to its seamless integration with the Unitree Go2 Edu platform and pre-installed, advanced algorithms for depth image processing, the D1 is the ultimate tool for developers looking to realize autonomous interactions in real-time.
Highlights of the Unitree D1 Kinematics & Mechanics
- 6 Degrees of Freedom (6 DoF): Thanks to six fully articulated axes, the robotic arm simulates complex human movement sequences with extreme precision and flexibility.
- Outstanding reach: With an arm span of up to 715 mm (including gripper jaws) or 600 mm (without gripper jaws), the arm opens up an enormous working radius for manipulation tasks.
- Precise 500g payload: Optimally balanced for lifting, placing, and manipulating objects up to 500 grams with maximum positional accuracy.
- Large joint range of motion: With wide rotation angles (e.g., J1, J4, and J6 with ±135° each as well as J2, J3, and J5 with ±90°), the arm effortlessly reaches even hard-to-access positions.
Highlights of System Integration & Algorithms
- Go2 Edu App Control: The D1 can be seamlessly adapted to any version of the Unitree Go2 Edu and conveniently controlled directly via the mobile app – ideal for interactive demonstrations and tests.
- Pre-installed AI algorithms: Every docking station (regardless of processing power with 40 or 100 TOPS) comes standard with highly developed algorithms for depth cameras and servo controls.
- Reliable Ethernet interface: Control communication takes place via a highly stable RJ45 Ethernet interface, which guarantees minimal latency and maximum data transmission security.
- Efficient power supply: With operation at 24V (max. 5A) and a nominal power of 60W via a standardized DC5.5-2.1 connection, integration into mobile battery systems is incredibly simple.
Technical Specifications
*Note: Minor dimensional deviations reserved due to future structural optimizations.
Advantage for professionals: The Unitree D1 brings physical capability to where it is needed – directly onto your mobile research platform. Thanks to its excellent compatibility with the Go2 Edu, time-consuming mechanical adjustments and hardware-side reverse engineering are completely eliminated. With already integrated and optimized algorithms for servo control and 3D depth sensing, developers and research teams can immediately begin programming complex interaction scenarios such as autonomous object recognition and dynamic grasping.
